Mayworks Picnic May 30
The annual Mayworks Picnic presented by the Winnipeg Labour Council will be held on Saturday, May 30. There'll be inflatable play stations, face painting and a clown. Free hot dogs and an orange drink for everyone - plus a free bicycle draw. More including time and location.
Town Hall Meeting on Economy
The Bread and Butter Tour is a national series of town hall meetings intended to collect ideas from people about what governments should be doing in response to the current recession. The Winnipeg meeting is on June 9. More information on this project.
WLC Membership Meetings
Held on the third Tuesday of each month, except during July and August, at 6:30 p.m. in the Union Centre, 275 Broadway.
